You will need to take one of your disks and then look at the bottom (The shiny side). What you will need to look for is if the disk has a dark ring coming from the center of the disk. If the disk does then that one has been burned already. If the disk does not have a dark ring it is either full of data or is empty. To tell if the disk is either full or empty you can compare it with another blank disk and if the surface is darker it is full, if not, then it is empty.

so meaning if it has a dark ribnt, IT HAS ALREADY BEEN BURNT? .. thats what I perceived.. right? duh.. so then the PICTURE shows a disk with a dark ring and the subtitle reads "a blank disk"
is this contradicting or is it just me.. ps: I'm not that stupid, I get it, But I just noticed that the pics were mislabeled.. as least I think.. hahahha!

I can't see the difference and I need to be able to tell. I am doing a backup of my computer files and forgot to label one of them. Now I don't know if it's blank or has already been burned. I am comparing the mystery DVD to one I know is burned, and they look the same. I see no dark ring on the burned DVD.

He is right. What y'all are seeing is the clear center(on the written) and a red disk ring(blank) center. Don't look at those, but where the "writing" is.
